Resolutions for the next 30 years

No plan will ruin your life, and the plan will limit your life. Let things go their way. Use time wisely each day. On my part, i will translate some literary pieces. I hope my translation will go published during my lifetime. It is simple but hard to accomplish.

You'll get it

Good luck!

OmegaT+ translators

I'm looking for translators who:
1. Know something about OmegaT+/open source CAT tools
2. Who hope to contribute to the localization of the Documentation (which can be downloaded from http://sf.net, and can be found here soon)

Language source: English
Target: any
Available language versions: Spanish, Chinese (TM only), and French

Available languages in OmegaT+

Hi,

Currently available languages in OmegaT+:

User interface localization: English(base), French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Hungarian (to be added to next release)
Documentation translation: Dutch(partial, to be added to next release), English(base), French(minimal/in progress?), Italian(partial)

For the documentation the most important documents to translate are QuickStart.html (Quick Start tutorial), RequireInstall.html (Requirements and Installation), Essentials.html (Essential program details). OmegaTPlus and index.html are important also, but I am currently editing these and making changes (get in touch with me and I will let you know when I am done).

See the on-line version of OmegaT+ documentation at http://omegatplus.sourceforge.net/OmegaTPlus/doc/guide/en/OmegaTPlus.html).

Any help is greatly appreciated to get more languages.

Note: to get the gist of a translation you can always use Google translate on a webpage (e.g., the OmegaT+ documentation) and use that as starter material. In concert with using OmegaT+ (or Translia) to translate it could help speed up the work. There is also Apertium at http://apertium.org (follow the "surf and translate" link to enter a webpage to translate). Note: Apertium has a more limited range of language pairs to offer (more European, shallow translation orriented).

Cheers,

Raymond (OmegaT+ project manager)
