I've joined Translia some weeks ago, and as I don't have much time, whenever I can, I come to learn how it works. It looks interesting...
I speak spanish, english and french, and I've been working as a freelance translator for 5 years.
I just wonder if there are more translators here with these languages, maybe we could do a Group?

I've just joined this site after receiving an invitation in my email. I have read the instructions and everything about how it works and I find it is a really interesting project, a new way of working, different from other translators's sites, that's why I joined and I hope to learn more and continue to develop my skills. I translate mainly in the technical, economic and general field (so far mostly touristic stuff) from French, English and Spanish to German (I am German). I hope also to work with you all soon.

I just joined this site and after reading all the instructions I think I understand how it works. It's really different from other places. I've translated a couple of books, some manuals and been an English and Spanish teacher for 14 years. I hope to grow professionally here!

Hi all of you. I'm new here too. It seems a friendly place. I have been translating, mostly books, from English to Spanish for the last ten years. My dream has always been, and still is, to translate novels, but I have really enjoyed what I have translated up till now, that is Philosophy, Psychology, Social Sciences... also a book about the translations of the Bible since it was first conceived. I have learned so much! That's one of the gifts of translating, isn't is?
It's good to be here, amongst peer translators. Let's hope this place will give us chances to continue developing our skills. See you around. Take care,

I am also new at Translia and I am excited about doing translations in this interesting place. But, first I want to say hello to everyone. I am doing SP-ENG-SP translations for a long time and they were mainly related to the fields of Economics, Business, Development and Mining but of course there are many other topics and fields that I find very interesting and enjoyable, so I look forward to cooperate and work with you all. I live and work in Bolivia at the present time but I did my university studies in USA. I love songs in Italian and French and I think that all languages and cultures have some mystery and spice that we discover as we get to know them better. Suerte a todos.
