How to put an end to the unfinished jobs?

Dear All,

Maybe some of you found that there is another job posted by our new client last Friday, but it's not finished by the deadline. Then the client was not happy since he didn't get the translation needed, some translators who contributed to the translation may be not happy either since their effort went in vain because Translia clients only need to pay 100% done jobs. Here I want to say thanks to these translators

By now, there are 8 such unfinished jobs and behind each there may be one unhappy client. One of the reason why there were less translators responded to these jobs is because the jobs were posted on Friday and needed to be delivered during weekend. Less translators check emails so many don't know there are jobs. Any solution for it so we have more happy clients and translators?

No translators..

Knowing that there are possible jobs, translators would check their e-mail more often. As there haven't been any jobs lately many have lost the routine of checking their e-mails on a regular basis, on week-ends or at odd schedules. It's a vicious circle: the less jobs there are, the less I check.
One way to warn translators of jobs available could be by "Skype" which is free. Here also the potential translator would have to have his/her computer connected to be able to hear the call.

I think another possibility might be using "text messages" on cell phones. I think most of your USA transliators will have this option and I have sent some texts to Italy.

It's the hen and egg problem. It's understandable that translators may not visit the website or check the emails frequently as there are less activities or jobs. While we need to find out a way to help translators know it at the first time and more conveniently. Will share with all of you when we have the solutio.
