On Translia, clients decide the translation process so as to meet the quality, cost and time requirements. There are three options:

• TEP process: translation, editing, and proofreading by different translators for excellent translation.
• TE process: translation and editing by different translators for good translation.
• T process: basic translation only.

Translator Rank does matter. For jobs under TEP and TE process, only the higher-rank translators can set the segment status to the final: Ready to Commit, and only the translators with Rank higher than 7 can edit any translation even when the segment status is set to Ready to Commit. It means that the higher-rank translators can get more jobs and earn more points on Translia because:

You have more opportunity to edit others' translation;
One edit during editing and proofreading equals to one and half edits during translation.

Editing and proofreading are well-paid jobs on Translia too. You are encouraged to edit or proofread the existing translation to make it from good to better.
