More and more, translation--and especially subtitling--are becoming necessary international phonemena for obvious reasons. It is helpful and even necessary for subtitlers, especially novices to the profession, to be aware of available work, but also to protect their interests in a domaine particularly susceptible to adaptation, reproduction, revision, collaboration, etc.
I have just joined this group and I am very interested in learning about subtitling. I am a Spanish-English translator based in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Hi people! Just joined this group, I am most interested in working with subtitles/film dubbing -however I prefer to watch movies without subs if I can understand the language. :D
Hope to get some offers for any projects related with ENG<=>GRE, GER<=>GRE and ENG<=>GER.
Have a nice day!! :D
Hi everybody, since I find very interesting working with new media in general, I have spent some time subtitling a feature lenght movie produced by an independent group.
I noticed that this group's name had a romanized (I'm assuming) "subtitle" translation. Is this group only for that specific language?
