As an individual, I'd be fairly happy. However, I'm a member of the world and, as such, I'll certainly be disappointed in one of the world's constituents, mankind. I love the life I was lucky enough to be born into, I just feel miserable for the people who weren't given the same chances that I was.

I agree - you and people who can linger here, including myself, are lucky. Let's be thankful. Also, let's hold the hope. After all, 2010 just started and we can do more or less for making the world a bit better than 2009. Can we?
