Hello, I am working on Web Translation Part C - JA. Does anyone have a good translation for subscription (to threads) in Japanese　Is it 加入、参加?

Someone else is translating subscription as 登録. How can we make all entries consistent?

If we translate subscription as 登録, will it bring any potential confusion for terms such as Log in and register? If no, surely I can replace all subscriptionwith 登録. Thank you!

Don't worry about Log in, which should be translated as 「ログイン」.
Register can be a problem. However, I believe most people can differentiate register to subscription by the contexts
even though these 2 words are translated to the same word 登録.
購読 can be another option for subscription if you hope to clarify the difference between register and subscription.

Please contact me whenever you need, including the tasks on variables you mentioned.

Well, seems to me that "登録" may be better than "購読."

For translation of "subscribe," I used 「購読」.
AS a translation, it's not so good but is often used as 「スレッドを購読する」 in Japanese.
