Meeting deadlines

Client will set a deadline for each job. Once you start working on a job, you should do your best to complete it as early as possible.

When the completed jobs are closed, the translation fee are distributed to translators' account based on the contribution percentage and translator rank. The job delivery method chosen by the clients decides when a job will be closed automatically, no matter it is 100% done or not.

  • Standard Delivery: the job will be closed at the deadline.
  • Accelerated Delivery: the job will be closed 30 minutes after the job progress is 100%. The option is available only to smaller jobs with one-day turnaround time.

Only when the job is 100% complete will the translators be paid with translation fee. If the progress is not 100% when the job is closed at the deadline, the client doesn't need to pay either Translia or translators.

For getting paid, be sure to finish translation in time and set all segments as "Ready to commit" before it is too late! The countdown timer under Job - Translation tab can show you the time left for translation.

Note: If you believe the deadline set by the client is unreasonable, do NOT take the job. Working on a job means you accept the terms and you agree to meet the deadline!
