Your Translator Rank largely determines how many jobs you may obtain and how much you may earn on Translia. The rank is evenly decided by the rate clients give you as well as the rate clients give your endorsers. Your rank would be improved if your endorsees do good jobs and get positive ratings from satisfied clients, and vice versa.
We recommend you only endorse translators who work with the same languages as yours. Doing so you can work together and help each other to assure translation quality. It is risky if you endorse someone who translates into a language you are unfamiliar with. If any of their job quality are bad, you couldn't know that until your rank is down.
You should not endorse others before you see their translation on Translia or somewhere else. If you receive an endorsement request from a stranger but you cannot find his/her translation anywhere, you may post a free job to test him/her, or just reject it.
We encourage translators to team up for better translation. To this end we design the Translator Rank system that translators who endorse each other are always in an advantageous position against those who endorse nobody.
You cannot continuously improve your rank just by adding more and more endorsers. The optimal number of endorsers is seven. The reason is your Translator Rank is based on up to seven translators counted from the bottom in the endorsers list.
