Gettext file translation (.po, .pot)

Gettext is the GNU internationalization and localization (i18n) library. It is commonly used for writing and translating multilingual programs. For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/software/gettext/.

When you want to translate your software applications, you can export the UI text and upload .po or .pot file to Translia for translation. For both files you will get translated .po files, which include both source and target strings and can be imported back to your system easily.

If you want to improve existing UI translations or complete the partially translated UIs, you can export the .po files (with translation included) and upload the files to Translia for editing. You only need pay for the new translation and the edits on the existing translations. This feature allows you to update your software conveniently and economically.

Known limitation
Translia does not support keyword msgid_plural at this time.
